In trikonasana, or the triangle pose, it is an asana that fits well after the Sun Salutation or after forward bends or backbends, or in the final part of the session, before pranayama.
Among its benefits is the development of the spinal muscles, straightening it and restoring its mobility, toning the abdominals, and improving respiratory imbalance (most people use one lung more than the other); with trikonasana, we will ventilate both lungs.

(we focus on the body position in trikonasana)
It is a very simple posture with great benefits if performed correctly but without competing to touch the ankle (as I have been wisely advised on some occasions).
Let's get into the posture:
1) Stand with your legs about 120 cm apart and inhale as you extend your arms (perpendicular to the body) to the sides, palms facing down. Notice that the right foot points to the right (because we will start with that side).
2) Turn the left palm upward and bring the arm vertical, looking at your hand. Simultaneously, exhaling, lower the right arm and tilt the torso to the right while the right hand descends, close to the body, from the thigh to the knee.
3) After touching the knee, the thumb and index finger continue descending along the shin. The torso keeps lowering until the fingers touch the foot. The left arm will have lowered to remain horizontal, always in contact with the head.
4) Hold this position and take ten full breaths, being especially mindful to inhale and exhale completely.
5) Return to vertical without bending and do the other side.
Also, trikonasana has many variations, so you could practice any of them and avoid always repeating the same one.
We hope you enjoyed this and if you have any questions, please contact us.
Best regards and have a great week!
